![]() I'm having some trouble with a leaking carb but can't seem to locate the problem. The car's been flooding and when I pulled the top off the carb, I could see a little bubble coming to the surface every 3 seconds or so. The fuel leaks until there only about 1/2 inch left in the bowl. I checked the power valve and accelarator pump but the gaskets look fine...I just rebuilt the carb about 1000 miles ago. When I drive it (weekends), it runs great until I stop, then the fuel leaks and it floods when I try to restart it. I can smell tons of gas. It's a stock 2brl on a 289. Thoughts?
