Default Gears!

Hey everyone, got another question about some gears. Do you think 4.11's would be too low for a 3 speed that wouldnt be on the track? I think it is a c-4, and it has the 302. I might be thinking about getting maybe on o/d tranny later on but maybe. I might drive on the highway a little bit, but what would it be able to cruise at on the highway? Would 3.55's be better for me, or even 3.89's or something? PLEASE HELP! Thanks

Default 4.11's, 355's

With a C-4 and 26" diameter tires, I believe you'll be reving at close to 3800 rpm at 70 mph with a 4.11. A 355 will be more like 3275 rpm at 70 mph.

if u drive it at all on any roads over 55 mph, I think u would be very disappointed with the choice of 4.11's. The 3.55's sound like a good compromise. If u drive this car much at all, there would be better areas to look at with the car to gain the performance.... then going so low with the ratio.
