i have a 65 gt with the stock am radio in it "working". i want to add a clarion cd/mp3 reciver. but the problem is i dont want to cut the dash, and i have the aftermarket ac in it so i cant mount it under the dash. anyone have any ideas? i was thinking of installing it in the glove box.

Either the glove box, or your other choice would be to get one of the radios made to fit your dash with a cd player hookup, and hook up a changer in the trunk.

If youre going to go that route, I would say remove the entire box, and fab a (nice looking ) panel to fit just inside the door. Mount the head into in that, it'll look cleaner and not have that half a$$ed apperance. You'll loose the storage space, but its a small sacrafice.
Personally, i would have gone with an aftermarket "stock"er with the cd hookup. Its easier to hide things in the trunk than the dash. But to each their own,
