Question Which N20 kit??? What to expect???

Hey guy's. I am ready to purchase a nitrous kit and I am between the Zex kit and the NOS kit. My mods are listed in my signature and I am very happy with the performance of my car but I am looking to lay the juice to her in hopes of a high 11 second pass. The results in my signature are on BFG Drag Radials and granny shifting the stock T-5 and clutch. Do you guy's think it would be possible for me to knock on the 11 second door with around a 100 hp shot? What kind of mph increase will a 100 hp shot give me? Any opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Stock T-5 and 3.73 gears. Big Blue Bottle on it's way!!!
Best time so far = 60'=2.021, 1/8=8.366 at 86.37 mph and the 1/4 was 12.926 at 108.94mph.

Man, it sounds like you have a really nice setup currently. You should try some slicks sometime, that 60' should probably be at least in the mid to upper 1.70's. That would put you a little deeper in the 12's. Your 108mph show's good potential. NOW put the squeeze on it and your gonna be needing a rollbar, you shouldn't have any trouble going in the 11's. You'll possibly go around 116-118 on the juice.

Good luck.

I think the ZEX only goes to a 80 shot, so you should go with NOS

I think ZEX now offers a 125 shot? Not totally sure on this, but I think I saw it in a recent article of 5.0 mag.

I use an NOS Big Shot in my car. It has run perfectly on the street a couple of times and on the dyno several times. Unfortuneately my car always breaks at the track before I get a chance to use it, so I don't know how much faster I'll go, but it added 116 rwhp and about 150 ft lbs (with the 150 hp jets). I like it much better than the NOS dry kit that I used to have.

I run 13.9 N/A and 12.3 with a 150 shot. All of this on a stock motor, so you should see some huge gains.

NOS Dry Kit, 125 jetting, and I'm giving some of the local supercharged guys headaches. Even got a Regal T-type that respects the car now.

I can't wait to get it at the track and see what numbers it'll turn. All I can say for now, its one huge kick in the a$$.

It was kit # NOS-05115. It was set for 100 hp but I never had it dynoed with it.

Cool

I'm in the n2o market too. I'm researching it and think I'm down to 2 companies - NOS and NX. I think want to run 125 or 150. My next mods, before I get it are gonna be 1.6 rr's and up/lwr rear ctrl arms. Looking at my mods, is there anything else I should do first - clutch/tranny/shifter or full exhaust??? Or, should I wait on the exhaust and wait for the clutch/tranny to blow up?
