![]() Hey everyone,
I have a 94 gt convert with mach 460 and stereo is displaying "BAD O or 0" not sure which last character. CD works but no volume control, radio goes to 1 am station after CD plays. Am I buying a new stereo or not, if so is crutchfield a decent place to get it. They sell a wiring adapter so you can use existing amps. Any input would be appreciated. John

![]() I am pretty sure you can't use any aftermarket stereo with the existing 460 amps.

![]() Go to your local Ford dealer first, I had problems with the head unit in my 97 and it was replaced under warranty. I blew speakers driving home from Dallas with the top down at 70(+) mph, they were replaced under warranty. Actually, the head unit went out just after warranty, but they replaced it anyway.
