I swaped out a 302ho to a 351W Ho after the swap auto trans will not go in gear. Checked the fluid, started to go and nothing.Very frustrated!any input would be great. This forum is the best. Thanks.

What kind of transmisson? EFI? TV cable?

How much converter end play did you have before bolting the converter up? It's possible that the converter hasn't engaged the pump.

Don't know what trans it is,trying to find out.I do know that it doesn't have any electronics or vacuum to it.I don't know what the end play was?
