![]() I bought an '89 GT almost two weeks ago and while it seems to be driving fine, I noticed something weird about my oil pressure. The guage will stay in the middle when I first fire the car up and stay that way for about 8-10 miles, after that the oil pressure will drop to the lower part of the normal area when idleing or when my foot is off the gas. When I step on it to speed up the pressure guage will shoot up to normal. I asked someone at Baxter auto parts while I was there picking something up and he said it was completely normal. He said that all cars should do this, I have never seen this before with all of the cars I had. My last two cars were also stangs, but not a 5.0, the were both 2.3L. Any thoughts...Dean
