Has Any One Else Noticed This....

I've Just Bought An 88' Lx Originaly 5.0 Auto With No Motor Or Trans. An I Have An 83' Glx Originaly A V6 3.8 Auto Which I Replaced With Whats In My Sig.......i Swapted Out Every Thing Of The Fram, Motor Trans Pedals Brake Booster M-c,interior Excluding The Dash, Front Clip,hood ,hatch,and My Ponys Now The Wheels Stick Out Way Further Than They Did In My 83' So Why...... I Thought The They Where The Same Besides The Springs And Brakes.....i Also Noticed The K Frame Is Way Thicker The Spring Pockets Are Different Too And On My Rear End My Ponys Rubbed On The Inside Of The Rear But On The 88 It Has About An Inch Of Clearence This Is Strang Is There A Different Or My Measuring Tape Is Wrong.......any Input Is Welcomed...........
