Default 66 Coupe Trunk photo anyone?

Hi all,

I have noticed in the pulldown that my coupe must have had a RH rear fender replaced at some time. The welds are fine but it looks as if they have pop riveted the section where it fits to the inner well. They also bashed down the seam lip so that the rear valance would fit. If someone could supply a picture of how this area should look I might have a clearer idea on what I need to do. Also how was the rear valance attached to the car? It looks to be original. Mine had a series of short self tappers and the bumparettes also held it in place.

Boy the Ford boys stuck a lot of that goop around to stop rust, but hey it really worked.

Thanks
Blinky
