![]() Ok I was trying to find out what you guys thought about clear taillight lens with squential leds. I have yet to see any classics with these clear lens w/sequential leds. All my friends think they looks like what a ricer would have. But I thought it would look cool and different.

![]() Clear lens are too darn RICER looking. This is a Classic car, not a Honda.

![]() I think the LED ones might add modern technology to an old car, but I would never think of the clear lens.

![]() I just put a pair of LEDs in my tail lights and they do make a big difference. They are a lot brighter and light up the lens area more evenly. Just wish they fit a little bit better but they can be easlily modifided. KCC Mustang sells them cheaper than most on ebay. Oh, and I would never put those clear lenses on my car.

![]() There's a very good reason you haven't seen these on any classics. To date, I've only seen ONE car with something other than stock taillights. It was one of those stupid single huge ugly circle taillights they sell at mustangs plus (they sell a LOT of useless, tacky crap), and whoever owns it works at the local burger place, so yeah...
These particular tailights would definately look different. Differerent like ass. Listen to your friends, they're trying to help you out here. |

![]() Might look cool on a black car with all the other lenes clear and the housing painted black or silver....that part might not be legal though, since black wouldnt reflect very well... Different can look cool. I would also paint the chrome bezel thing that goes over the lens black too....
