Default 1986 5.0 with 85 shortblock

Hey guys, quick question;
I've got a 86 stang, with the original motor.
I also can get a 85 5.0 motor from a 85 mustang for cheap too. What I intend to do is rebuild the 1985 rotating assembly and then swap the 85 shortblock into the car, using the FI intake and heads from the 1986 motor.

Will this work or will there be problems with this setup or will it suck? Also, can I use the 85 heads and bolt the FI manifold up to them?

Thanks everyone
