Default Unknown Part

I first just wanted to say thanks for all the help that I have recieved so far getting my 68 running right... I feel much better knowing there are resources outthere available to me. The task of restoring this car does not seem as big...

I do have another question though... there is a part that is sticking up from the thermostat housing with 3 ports on it.. I can see in pics that that are connected to the VA for an automatic but I have a manual. So, what do I connect these ports to or do I block them off?

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Thanks

that thermostat housing is for a newer motor , prob 302 , no need to plug them ,you can go to the parts store and get a thermostat housing without ports in it if its a cosmetic thing...

those ports went to vacum ports on the intake and smog equip.

Those were for the engines with the two stage dist. vacumm advance. Disregard it, plug it or as stated above get a housing without the opening.
