![]() Hi I am putting a 8lb blower on my 89 stang. It currently has a performer intake, Blower Cam, full exhaust, and I will also prob be using a 50 Wet Shot of Nos.
I was wondering is it time for subframe connectors and what are the best ones to get. Thanks |

![]() Subframes are a good idea for even a stock mustang. There are several good companys that make them. Get a set that have the crossbrace for the seats.

![]() Definitly install subframe connectors and check for cracks behind the front seats on the floor boards. Keep putting the power to it and you might want to consider a roll bar too.

Most of the time its a melted piston or blown gasket that ruins your motor. Very rarely is it a split block or broken rod.

Stangs 79-04 all should of had subs welded on as soon as they leave the car lot imo.....full length is the way to go, I have some cheap tubular bolt on's that i had welded, work alright i guess the steeda full length's are nice since they have a torque box reinforcement.
