Help with a convertible frame.

Does anyone know if a convertible top frames from a 1986 mustang is the same as a 1988 ?????

I misread your question so I'm re-submitting a more appropriate response.

The bodies on the '86 and '88 Mustang were practically identical with just 'cosmetic' changes.

The Mustangs Unlimited catalog lists convertible tops as all the same for a '83 -90 'Stang, so I would assume that the frames supporting the top would also be the same for '86 and '88. A call to a local convertible top shop might also help answer the question.

Sorry for any confusion I might have caused. I saw 'frame' and thought unibody. My bad.
