![]() I'm swapping a 429 into my 86 mustang GT and I'd like to go with a pro-shifted TKO II, does any one know if a bellhousing is available to hook up the TKO to a big block and what clutch I might want to go with? I'm also considering a 514 stroker kit being I want to beef up the bottom end anyway and I've heard about some bad experiences with certain companies, so any advice on who offers good kits would be appreciated. ------------------ 86 Mustang GT w/pretty stock 93 5.0 (cam, pulleys, injectors, throttlebody,h-pipe) Motor to be swapped for a 1970 429 +.030, ported heads, solid roller cam, victor intake, 10.2:1 comp, C-6 trans, 3:73 rearend W/moser axles |

![]() Its like this, you have butterflies in you pants. You will never have that kind of motor in your car. Know speaking of power, the kind of clutch you need to run in your TKOII is a Honda Civic Si clutch. Because I hear with those clutches that those cars can pull the front wheels off the ground. Later homie.

See, wild horses doesn't even own a mustang, he drives a '70 Chevelle 396 (it's his, but it's really his dads, get it?), but don't worry, it got beat by a '99 Mustang Cobra. Wait, don't they have a 4.6 and you have like a 6.5, ahhhhh hahahahaha. Funny. ------------------ 86 Mustang GT w/pretty stock 93 5.0 (e-cam,pulleys,injectors, throttlebody,h-pipe,headers) Swapping out the 302 for a 514 stroker(was a 429)-cobrajet heads, solid roller cam, victor intake, TKO II trans, 3.73's w/axles&c-clip eliminaters. |
