That stage 3 kit is going to put that car in the mid 14's, and the supercharger might get it to a 14.1@88mph, and 0-60 would be around 12 seconds. ;oO

we're gonna need to know the type of heads these are that are "maximum ported"
also the specs of the cam are needed

when you say SVO intake, do you mean the Cobra/GT40?

whats the ron anderson stage 3 motor? what compression?

i'd guess anywhere from low 11s to high 12s because more info is needed to tell you more specifically

I believe they are GT40 heads and intake. I am not well informed as to what the ron anderson package consists of though =( I took the car on a test drive and it drove real nice. I have a 98gt (a few ponies up on stock) and it seemed like it had way more balls than it. I wasnt able to convince the owner to let me take it for a run at the track =(. Also, the guy wants $11,000 for it; decent price??? It has 29,000 miles on it.

With only 29,000 miles on it the car is probably worth around $6,000-$7,000 if it were stock depending on the condition. With the mods it may be worth $11,000, but you could buy a nice used Cobra for that. If the car looks and runs as nice as it sounds go for it. I wouldn't base a decision like this on 1/4 mile times.

I would definately get more info from the guy before buying it though. I would hate to have a car like that and not know the exact parts it has because it helps to know for future mods.

I agree with 2fastlx. Get numbers and info. $11,000 is a lot of cash and a trip to the strip is not uncalled for. If it has all that stuff and is tuned properly it's gonna run some numbers. Guessing the 1/4 mi time is like trying to guess the cam lift by listnening to it. I would guess maybe an 11 second car?

Wink

Are you in the central Illinois area? Why don't you take the car to Anderson Ford in Clinton, Il and verify the work?

I would say the combo is worth low 12's, high 11's with traction.
