![]() I did this on my 302 and it was within specs, now I'm bolting the same bellhousing on my 351...do I have to check it again??

![]() It would be best to take a little time and do it again since it it a different block and it could be out of align. After all you dial in the block not the bellhousing. The bells are made to more exacting tolerances than the sand cast iron block. Did you get offset pins or the weld on washers?

![]() I just did this for a 289, and now I am having to do it now for my 347. And I will keep doing it if it means it will last longer and give me fewer problems since there are enough probs already. With the offset pins you can either get 2 more pins or take them out and put in new block. They aren't all that hard to center up and it helps a lot in longevity.
