I removed my old 7.5 rear end and is tranfering everything over to the new 8.8. I'm not sure what I do with the brace or some call it the dog bone thats on the axel housing on the 7.5. Do I move this over too? What exactly does this do?

If you're talking about the thing on the bottom of the housing...it's used to dampen vibrations. It's really pretty useless from what I know.
