On my new Holly #0-80457S, Does any Vac ports
from the carb need to go to the manifold to make secondarys work?
The big vac port I was going to use for crank case vent tube going to carb.
(I'm converting from 2bbl to 4bbl)
Thanks: The Cat who can drive!(but not very well)

The vacuum secondarys are opened by internal carb vacuum and don't need any outside lines hooked up.The large line you refer to should hook to PVC valve.
The secondarys will only work with enough vaccum while under load,so don't worry if you don't worry if you don't see them open when reving up in the driveway.

Thanks Poppy Jim! I put an Edlebrock Performer on today. Ran out of daylight-I'm
installing Holly tomorow. It's been 18 Yrs sense I messed with a Holly Carb. Do you know where the Idle adjustment screws are?
Are they on the bowls? I wont bother them(new carb)unless I have to. Thanks again for the info!

Sounds like your getting there!
The idle mixture screws are on the side of the front metering block.Between the float bowl and the main body are two small slot head screws one on each side, they should be about 1 1/2 turns out as good starting point. At least I didn't stutter this time as last post.Good luck!

Thanks again Poppy Jim-I cant try out my new stuff I'm having a real goat rope trying to get dist back in. I removed it twice because it jumped a gear while i was bumping the stanted- everything ran good but timing marks were way off. 12 degrees was really like 4 degrees BTDC. Clips aren't holding it
- I just wont drop in -I tried every thing! I'll mess with it tomorow!
