![]() I have a friend that has a '71 351C with stock 2V heads, and a Weiand X-celarator intake. I'm helping him build this engine this coming spring. We want to get close to 400 hp. Has anyone gotten this with the 2V heads? Also, if you have any recomendations on any other parts and/or machining that is needed. We are kind of undecided on what to get. Any help would be appreciated.

![]() you can get 400hp out of 2v heads without a problem, and more torque than you would with the 4v heads.. just clean the intake side a little,,, and spend some money on the exhaust port.. maybe look at getting a matching cam/inatke combo.. or call comp cams tech support or go to their site and get the camquest program... will give some close specs for a cam..
