Unhappy Fuel Pump

1968 hardtop is hard to start in the mornings, new pump installed. Is there a different pump available? Maybe electric

Make sure the little rubber hose coming off the gas tank isnt crimped. Maybe your starting problem isnt the fuel pump.
What kind of engine & carb do you have?

The mechanical pump should work fine, take the air filter off in the morning and see if your choke is closing before your first start. Sometimes you need to depress the gas pedal to release it to close.
