![]() I am looking for a '69 Mach 1 in good condition (very nice #3 to strong #2 car) that is still reasonably original. I'd prefer a 390 or 428 with either a 4-speed or automatic, but I'll consider a 351C if it's an especially nice car.
My color preferences are candyapple red w/ black interior or acapulco blue w/ white. Strong secondary choices are raven black, silver jade, or aqua. This car will be my first Mach 1, so please feel free to offer constructive criticism of the above choices. I'm here as much to learn as to get help with my search. Thanks, MustangHunter |

![]() I've got a 69 Mach I with the 351W. I think 351C didn't come in Mustangs until the 1970 models. The 351W was a factory 2BBL but that was replaced with an edelbrock manifold and holley carb. There are lots of parts for the windsor. Don't overlook it. Good luck finding one. There are lots to pick from.

![]() To all who replied:
Thanks for the responses. I have bought a '69 Mach 1, 428CJ, 4 spd. It's a tach car with all matching numbers (engine and body panels) in rough but very restorable condition. The restoration is currently getting underway and will probably take long enough to miss this driving season, but the car will be in show condition for next season. Regards, MustangHunter |
