Post brakes

On the proportioning valve under the hood
What is the line that runs from one of the top ports to one of the bottom ports for? It has a 2 inch something in line. What is the two wire connection going into one of the top ports for?? I want to upgrade to rear discs, what are the best and or easiest set ups out there??? Thanks

Not familiar with the 69, but on my 68 the 2-wire connection on top plugs into my brake warning switch, letting you know if there's problems with either the front or back brakes. Other than that I'm no help to you - totally ignorant about the brake system.

Unplug them one at a time and see what goes off. It's either got to be brake warning light,rear brake lights, or one lead for each. Should be easy to find out.
