Cool V8 conversion

I am in the process of coverting my 65 6 cyl. automatic coupe to a v8 289. I have a v8 donar car to help with most of the parts.
My question is: Do I need to swap all of the V8 steering components over or are some of them the same? (tie rod ends, center link, pitman and idle arms) Thanks for any information you may have on the subject.
