![]() Okay, I'm a little new to this website. I've spent the last hour surfing it, and am very impressed!! I am wanting to get ideas on something.
I am planning to build a 1966 Coupe or Fastback in memory of my father who recently passed. I don't have the car, or anything just yet. I prefer to plan things out before I get in to something that's over my head. 1) How large of a motor can you cram into a '66? (I'm thinking 351W-w/o any major changes, I do have a 460, but am sure I allready know the answer to fitting that in there.) 2) What is the highest output of horsepower/torque you can pull from a 351W and still keep it fairly stable? I know it can be bored and stroked a bit... how much? 3) How hard would it be to slap a 5 speed behind it, (I'm thinking a Tremec would handle the load??) I have no set plans as of yet. Like I said I prefer to map things out before I jump in and do something. Any information, links, etc. is greatly appreciated. The more specific the better on any information you feel like giving. Thanks for all the help!!!! |
