does anyone know what type of power a stock 71 302 engine would have and what size combustion chambers it would have. thanks

My tattered Chilton's Mustang manual says for the '71 302, 210 bhp @ 4600 and 296 lb./ft. of torque @ 2600.

I think they were still using gross figures here, so that would be 15-20% lower if you converted to net that we use now.

The '71 302 (2 bbl.) heads had 1.773" intake / 1.442" exhaust.
