DynoMax Race Magnum Bullets
Does anyone have any experience with these mufflers? Are they streetable? I am thinking of running these instead of my MAC cat back kit. Alot of people are saying that you don't want to run a chambered muffler design with an X-pipe. Thanks for any input.

I have 1 5/8 long Hedmans, 2 1/2 custom H-pipe, race magnum bullets, & to top it off 24" by 4" chrome tips, & everybody hears me coming. I love it. I never got any tickets or complaints from the cops, but I live in Edmonton.

It is probably off-topic .... but before I was allowed to have Swiss plates I had to have an official auto inspection - they made a condition that I fit 2 extra cat mufflers - one on each pipe - and people still hear me coming...

My wife refers to the Bullets as the 'anti-mufflers'. Love the sound on our race car, but they really draw the attention when we drive it on the street.

Oh yes they are loud. I test drove a Mustang that had a stock h and race bullits and got a ticket. The ticket was not for load exhaust though. I was seeing how much getiup the thing had and a cop heard me two blocks away.

Well I'm sold. They will be on my parts list for this payday. I just hope the MP's here on base don't give me a hard time.

I have heard the race magnum bullets on a 5.0 with 2 1/2" h-pipe and it is loud, a little louder than my 1 chamber flowmasters that I just had replaced with 3 chamber flows.
They are cool at first buy they get old real quick and after a while it wont seem quite as streetable as it did with your old mufflers. If you want loud then get your self 3" exhaust because mine got a lot louder with the 3" and it sounds better. Good luck with what ever you go with and keep us posted. ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX 12.565 @109.38mph 1.764 60ft |
