1966 mustang

HELP!!!
I'm in northwest arkansas and I don't know a mechanic to work on my 1966 mustang. It needs a little engine TLC. Its a good car but I'm hesitant on taking it to an unknown mechanic. Does anyone have any advice? What steps should I take in getting my car running smoothly? Anyone know any mechanics in NW arkansas? Please Help! Thank You!

Yup, I agree with bmxmon, if the car is in decent condition, dont be afraid of turning a wrench on it. One word of advise tho. RESEARCH.
If your new to working on cars, read all you can before you start playing with it.
What is wrong with the car that you are needing to have fixed by a pro?
Let us know whats wrong and we might be able to tell you how to fix it.:D
As far as finding a mechanic, word of mouth is always a good thing. You could go to any local shows/cruises/hangouts, and talk to other enthusiasts. See who they use, etc.

Hope it helps,
J
