well i can tell you this. me and my grandpa did a 69 mach 1 and we (well he) put over 40k in the car. but it was gutted and not a rolling chassis. no motor nor drive line no interior only thing that was good was the rear window and the body was kinda straight. lol but it was fun we did a full body off. if you are going to do a restoration i will say an auto rotisserie was the best tool we bought it made it alot easier to do the under carage .

Do not waste your money unless you have lots of it and still you would be better off finding one already restored. It is cheaper to buy someone else's money pit. They will take the big financial loss.

If you are going to do it yourself, it is a great learning experience. You need to know someone who has the tools and some time to help you. Here is the car I did with my Uncle Stang Pics.

If you are going to pay someone else to do the restoration, it would probably get up to at least $30,000.

Good Luck,

it all depends on your skills and what u can do and what u need to pay some one to do.motor and tranny are the least worrie.if u have to pay some one to fix that body ur talkin mega bucks.the other guy said it best about buying some one else's money pit.its so true
