![]() I would like to know where I could find a low plane 2x4 intake for a 1970 351C with 4bbl heads ? Does anyone ( edelbrock, holley, weiand, etc ) make it, or has it ever been available ? I do not want a tunnel ram because I do not want to cut my hood.
please help !!! |

![]() I never saw one.
I looked all over for a dual 4 barrel, low profile, for a 351W. None either. Only Tunnel rams.

![]() you can get adapter plates for the 351w to run a 289-302 intake.. cant remember where though...
as for the 351c... good luck... maybe there was an over the counter one from ford/shelby.... never run across one though... check offy...

![]() I doubt you'll find it just because it's not logical. A lowrise dual quad intake for a 351C 4V wouldn't work well at all. The 4V, as you know, has huge ports and makes very little low rpm power. Most lowrise dual planes are done by about 5000rpms. With a 4V, if you're trying to make power below 3K without filling in your ports, you're wasting your time. Also take into account that you will never need or be able to use the extra cfm from 2 4 barrels on a smallblock operating below 5K rpms. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I have never seen or heard of a lowrise dual quad intake for a 351C 4V and for good reason. Unless you just like the look and are not interested in performance, why bother?
