Default 2+2?

I am not exactly sure what the 2+2 means in some fastbacks, but I do know that when it is on some of the Nissan 300zx's it means that the car is a four seater - 2 in front and 2 in back. That is all I know.

The 2+2 was on the early 65-66 fastbacks. Meant the same as on the Nissan. Two up front and two in the rear.

More specifically the 2+2 had the fold down rear seat so you could make it a 2 seater or fold the seat back up and viola you had 4 seats again. I think they got more milage out of the precived notion that 2+2 meant some kind of proformance option.
