Default No Cobra for 2005. Say it isn't so.

I was reading about the possibility of the 2005 Mustang being the 2004 pace car for the Indy 500 on this page when I happened to see something where it said there isn't going to be a 2005 Cobra offered. It's under the section called "Differences Between the Concepts and the Production Model".

http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/concept/s197/index.htm

Please don't let it be true.

BS, there will be a Cobra. Please remember that the introduction of the new Mustang is quite some time away. It will look much different then, as opposed to the way it looks now.

It would be stupid to have a 2 seater mustang. That would kill everything the mustang has stood for for the past 40 years.

So basicly the took off all the gayness. Glass roof = gay(did you really think that was gonna make production? ). Rollbar = gay two seater = really gay.

I've got $100 bucks that says that there will be a 05 Cobra? Any takers?

how in the hell can you say a rollbar on a vert is gay? thats gotta be the dumbest thing youve said josh...a rollover in my car scares the shiite out of me...youre right about the glass roof...obviously wasnt gunna happen, but it should....everything they took away wasnt the "gay" stuff...it was the innovative stuff that you dont see much on cars because its a leap into futuristic automobiles...not gay :P

Just about every sports car now is becoming a two seater or a 4 door sedan....wtf is going on?!?!
I like 4 seat mustangs....even if the rear seats are somewhat non functional.
Heck, my GT doesn't even have rear seats, but i like the thought that you can throw a couple of friends in the back of one and get them car sick from doing doughnuts

Let me rephrase that. The roll bar on the concept = gay

happy now

I'm sorry, but that glass roof had to go. It looked awful. While roll bars on convertibles aren't "gay" in general, that one was. And I'd hate to have a two seat stang. There wouldn't be any room for my stuff, and passengers.
