Default 302 to a 351w

I know you can put a 351c into my 73 c4trans stang. I was woundering if anyone knows about what I would need to do to put the windsor in.

did they put 302's in the 73s too?? If they did, put in those motor mounts, and 302's and 351w share the same motor mount. As far as the trans and crossmember go im not sure.

actually, i dont think you even need to change the motor mounts. Checking out the mustangsplus.com online catalog, they show engine mounts for a 65-73 289/302/351c/351w as the same one.

I don't really think there's much to do. I believe the headers will even interchange from the 302W to the 351W. Might be some H pipe work to connect the exhaust due to the higher deck height with the 351W.
