Question 302 and a 5 spd

I realize this is a Mustang site, but I'll give it a shot. I have a 65 Falcon with a 6 and an C4. I was wondering if anyone cojld give me advise on a swap to a 302 and a T-5 5 speed out of a newer mustang (87-93). I have the V8 mounts, thats the easy part. However, I am lost when it comes to tranny mounts and clutch setup. Which clutch setup can I use? Will the T5 fit without too much hastle? Any help would be great. Thanks

Cool

It should be the same as doing a mustang. You
can use the late model bellhouseing but you will need a new pivot for the clutch linkage,
if you use the Z bar setup.

If you use the early model bellhouseing you will need a adapter plate between the bellhousing and transmision.

You can also use the cable clutch linkage that goes in the late model Mustang. I think
Winsor Fox has the setup. www.windsor-fox.com

Sinse you have a auto transmission now, useing the cable setup might be the way to go.

If not you will have to locate a donor car with a manual trans to get the clutch linkage out of.
