Default 351 Cleveland

Qu: 1: Will the original Ford blue valve covers from a 1973 Cleveland 351 2bbl. motor fit my November build 1971 Cleveland 351 2 bbl. motor;
Qu: 2: I have a wiring wizard friend who does classic Mustang wiring. Will he have any trouble wiring the tach from that '73 to my '71 or does the year not matter. Currently, I've the idiot light cluster on my '71 Mach 1.
Many thanks.
Brendan
