Default new exhaust pipes for my '68

hey all, more quessies here, i need to get a new head pipe for my exhaust as the old one is just about rusted through. is this something easily replaced by me? or would i be better off going to an exhaust place. if thats so , how much should i be paying?. also i'm not sure if this is what you call it, but the bushing? on one of the steering pistons? on my front axel is broken and open to the air. how do i fix that? do i need to buy a whole new piston, or just the bushing?
thanks in advance for your help. this place sure is groovy!
