Default 351c, 390 Motors

hey guys i was wondering how much a junked 390 or 351c would run me from like a used junker that specialized in older mustangs ...any ideas or estimates on an old (rebuildable) block that i could put together for my '68 - my 347 plans went down the toilet after i calculated an estimated 6k+ for everything. furthermore if i found a 390 or 351c would i be able to find a bellhousing for a c4 to bolt up to these? or did these use the c6's ..i already have a race built c4 that i bought for the stroker motor but now its just sitting there...
