I was wondering if the stock C4 i have will survive behind my 351w with 400lbs of torq?

When was your c4 made? Prior to 1970, very slim to none. After 1970, Ok to Slim. I wouldn't try it unless you are planning on another trany swap later.

thats what i figured, thanks. I guess i will just have to have it built up to survive the power, cause that will be cheaper than buying a new tranny.

Hehe, it will survive for a little while(few hours, few days, depending on your driving). But look out for whats left when it does go. I wouldn't do it if it was me.
