through 1970, all six cylinder mustangs had four bolt wheels, and drum brakes. it is possible to change them over to 5 bolt wheels, but you will need to replace the front spindles and hubs, and as long as you are there you may as well swap to granada front disc brakes. at the rear you will need to swap the rear axle from the granada as well to get the 5 lug pattern, so but a cheap parts car. since you are doing this for your wife, convert to power brakes as well. you might be able to use the granada power booster, but check out
www.mustangsteve.com as he has an article on swaping to power brakes. if you want to add power steering as well, you can use the power ram, and draglink from a maverick.
