six cyl to 8 cyl swap
i was thinking about swapping my 200cid for a 289 or 302. i have a 65 coupe thats structually sound but was wandering about the smaller suspension and 13" wheels with the added weight and torque. i had a 67 fastback when i was younger and tore the shock tower in it. just dont want that to happen again. the 200 is a great engine to go to car shows but i would like a little rumble with the great mustang look.

This question comes up alot. Hey moderator, maybe it could be part of a faq thing or something? Anyway, look back in posts over the last month. Someone asked about engines in a 67 which I responded too, and someone else asked a similar question about the same time that I think Rev answered (if I remeber right) Anyway, to do it right is a bunch of work.

Not a bad idea to put up a FAQ page.
I will add that to my things to do list. -red |
