				 | 66 mustang front suspension I have just purchased a 66 mustang coupe, redone the rear suspension and am looking to replace the front along with changing out the brakes. I guess my question is are there modern suspensions that work good for the car or go with a after market set from a parts house. One question in regards to the steering it appears i have more travel in one direction than the other any thoughts. As anyone experienced water leaking through the windsheid wiper pivot hole into the dash. Thanks

				 | unless you are going all out racing, and then you have to work with in the class rules, factory replacement parts work just fine. check out www.p-s-t.com for suspension parts for your stang. as for the steering problem, two things; 1: the steering box was likely not centered properly when the linkage was last rebuilt, 2: the last alignment shop do the toe in adjustment all on one side of the steering linkage. both can easily be redone when you rebuld the suspension.

				 | As far as water leaking through your windshield wiper pivot hole, there is a gasket on each hole on the inside behind your dash to stop any water. If you're sure your cowl doesn't have a rust hole, you probably just need to replace the gaskets. Believe you can get them at any of the Mustang parts suppliers. |
