5 lugs

I have a 4 lug v--6 car but have access to a 5 lug suspension. My question is what is the minimum of parts I need to go to a 5 lug suspension? I plan on keeping th ev-6 and upgradeing it.

Thanks

spindles, inner and outer tie rods, sleeves, pitman arm, idler arm, and center link for the front. A complete new rear end for the rear. (i dont think you can just swap the axles....) You will probably also have to mess around with your brakes lines. Are you keeping the front drum brakes or swapping to discs?? What year car anyway??

I have a 65 and the parts would come off a 67 or 68 and i would like to do the disc brakes also.

Hmmm, im not exactly sure on the combatibility of the 67 and 68 spindles... They will work, im just not sure if you have to swap the tie rods or not. I would imagine you would, because your going from 6cly to 8cly suspension. If going to disc, you should swap to a dual master cylinder. You will have to put in a porportioning valve inline with your rear brakes. If your pulling this off a junkyard car, i would grap the spindles/dics assembly, pitman arm, idler arm, center link, and rear end. Buy new tie rods. The dual master cylinder could also come out of the junk car.
