65 Hi-Po Heads

How much are a set of complete 65 Hi-Po Heads worth with new springs and new ford rockers with good ole FoMoCo valves. They are in excellent condition.

It kinda depends on the buyer Zach. As a performance head, 289HP's aren't a great deal different than regualar 289's with the exception of the screw in studs as opposed to pressed in. They have the same port diameters and valve sizes. Better heads are readily available in the 5.0 aftermarket these days (we have a strong aftermarket to thank for these) On the other hand, someone looking to put together a K code for a restoration project would pay a premium. I would put them in the 250-500 market, perhaps a little higher for a motivated buyer.

Good luck.

they also have cast in valve seats... like a small cup that the valves sit in... someone restoring a shelby or a hi-po car would be looking for a set..
