![]() I want to start racing autocross in the SCCA Solo II races. But my car is for from ready. I need help. My car is a 65' Mustang coupe.
First: What is the widest tires I can put on the front and back. How tall can they be? I was thinking 16in. with low-pro 25's. Second: What is the best front suspention? Third: Do they make subframe connecters for my year? Any other advice would be nice. Other info on my car is front disc brakes, Rear has Gabril "High Jacker" air-shocks, power brakes. Ofcorse I have power mods too... 302 overbored .30, port/polished heads, roller rockers, 600cfm 4v carb, high perfomance cam, headers, h-pipe...I think thats all. -Thanks |

![]() Well If your body is in need of some attention, I would suggest adding fender flares if you want large tires for a streetable car. I love 'em and they look good. They do make subframe connectors, just check out mustangsplus.com and I'd get a monte carlo bar if you don't have one already, a pan hard rod, and swaybars. I'm not to sure about the tires sizes, but it should be easy if you're at a somewhat stock height. The guys here will deffinetly have info for you. Good luck!
