Post '65 tires

Two questions:

1) what was the stock tire size on a '65?
2) I think I got tires 10% too tall. What's the best way to sell them off?

Thanks.

Thumbs up

The original tires were P78 bias ply tires. They were 6.95 inches wide so there height would be (6.95*0.78*2)+14=24.8" tall. This would correspond closest to a 205/70/14 (24.9" tall) or a 225/60/14 (25.3" tall).

If the tires you have don't rub then just keep em and change the speedo gear in the transmission so the speedometer reading is correct.
