Default 66 Fastback bodypart needed-plz hlp....

I just crossed over to the dark side....and I think I like it...just picked up a major project and I am looking for a seat/trunk divider for my 66 fstbk. No one seems to carry that item and mine looks like swiss cheese. I weld and fabricate as a hobby and I am pretty sure I can make one if need be however I mine is pretty bad and I would prefer a whole replacement so that I wont have any probs with the trap door and any other pieces that bolt on to it. I've checked Dallas mustang, mustangs unlimited, CJ pony parts, Sacramento mustangs, and Texas mustangs. If you know where I can get a replacement panel plz let me know. Thx.

You could check mustangs plus too, but I believe nobody actually sells that part because its an intergral part of the body structure that they dont want people cutting out. I remember reading that when they first came out with the dynacorp 67/8 fastback body shells... You'll probably have to fabricate, good luck! (This way at least you could use thicker steel to help reinforce the body!)

Thumbs up Re: 66 Fastback bodypart needed-plz hlp....

I appreciate the info, i guess i will have to fab the rear divider panel; thats cool and again thanks for the info about the part being an integral part of the car, with that said i guess it would be better to fab it up myself. again thx.....
