I would be interested in the 87' engine but it's just too far for me. Maybe next time. As for the T-5 behind a stock 302 might work but not for long if you drive it hard. The rear end change over can be done and even a rack/pinion steering but as far as using springs and other such things I wouldn't head the direction. If you do decide to go ahead and do it good luck.
