Question 67 convertible conversion

I have a 67 coupe. I want to make it a convertible. I know it is a huge project but I cannot find any info on where to make the cuts etc. I have located the stiffeners for the frame, but don't have any clue about the top. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's going to be some tough info to get. I don't know of a source for that. Why don't you find someone with a factory convertible and go from that.

Why not use the retractable top for 65-68 mustangs from mustangs plus? I have seen their 64 1/2 stang. To tell you the truth it looks fairly stock. Except for the fact that there is no rectractable mustangs.

I know this is a huge project. Thanks for the info. This was the first car I ever got so I am kind of attached to it. My dad would never let me have the convertible and I cannot justify buying one now. Too many mouths to feed as most of you are probably aware. Where is mustang plus and what is a retractable top? A hard top?

www.mustangsplus.com is their web page. A retractable is a hard top look mustang but easy to pull back top.
