67 fastback

I am looking for a project car, and I love the look of the 67 fastback, because it is a project I would want to customize it, not restore it, I would hate to do this to one that would be worth something if is restored, so what I am looking for is a fastback with a 6 cylinder in it, because the 6 cylinder cars aren't valued as much, did 6 cylinder cars come with as fastback option or were they all just coupes??

Blocker - if you're planning on putting a V8 in that project car, you would be better off to start with a V8 car. There are a lot of differences between the V8 cars and the I6 other than the motor. Check out Stef Robert's site for the parts she is swapping to go from I6 to V8. Of course if your planning on a complete resto mod with new suspension, steering, transmission and rearend, then forget the above advice.

I was orginaly planning to do a frame up, and the power plant was going to be a efi 5.0,

it would all be a matter of timing and finding the right car.

but do the 6 cylinder cars come in fast back modle?

yes they came with 6 hade 3 speeds or c4
