67 mustang brake help?

HELP! Just put new granada disc brakes and new disc drum master cyl with prop valve in rear line as well as line lock in front lines I bled all lines and master cyl properly and I'm still not getting the best braking that I feel it should be? proportioning valve setting? Also when at the track setting line lock brakes hold but quickly tires start to roll after starting to heat tires they don't roll freely but don't hold like they should.I installed line lock per moroso instructions. HELP!

The only thing im thinking of is that perhaps you have the wrong push rod for the master cylinder. Power or manual brakes?

I actually have the same set-up as you then. Im using the 67 MC in my 65, also manual. With mine I had problems with my pushrod being too short, (the one that came with the MC) I didnt have enough pedal travel to build enough pressure. Is your brake pedal all the way up when your not on it? Mine wasnt, I had to lengthen the pushrod. Wish I would have gotten an adjustable one in the first place.

yes the pedal is up how do your brakes feel? where do you have your prop valve set in out in the middle?

my brakes are solid, quite stiff. I actually never moved my prop valve from where the factory said to set it, its a SSBC unit.

I have the same setup on my 68. I used a 68 MC and a 68 booster when I converted. I also used a 70 proportioning valve instead of the adjustable one from Ford. It looked more original and I didn't have to set it. :-)

Anyway I agree with everyone else. The only issue I had was that I had to adjust the push rod twice. First time I had not pedal movement and the second time too much. Third time was a charm. Also remember that you have to change the manual pedal with one for power brakes if you add a booster to it. The fulcrum location is different on them.
